Scope of Work: 
In order to showcase faculty publications, the President requested additional shelves for the 8th floor lobby at 66 West 12th Street. A custom, wall-mounted set of 5 shelves was fabricated by a local metalworker and installed to match the existing shelves there, which are used to display literature and pamphlets on The New School programs.

Drama / Library

Room 409 & 511.

Scope of Work:
There were a series of domino projects completed in order to create 2 new drama studios. The library staff was relocated from the 9th floor at 55 W.13th Street to 2 rooms at 66 w. 12thStreet, 409 and 511. These rooms were gutted and completely redone and were occupied by the library staff during the summer of 2016. The library staff rooms at 55 W.13th Street were then converted into drama studios. It involved some demolition followed by the installation of new Marley-type dance flooring, new lighting, painting and additional AV.

Lang - Music Lab

Scope of Work:
The Lang Contemporary Music program wanted to find a space on campus for its very popular DJing Skills and Styles course, taught by DJ Rob Swift (Lang part-time faculty). Lang Room 002 was a seminar and music instruction classroom that was chosen to become the DJ music lab. Furniture was ordered to be flexible enough to accommodate all types of instruction and to support the DJ equipment. The room was outfitted with additional electrical receptacles and special storage units to safely store the equipment. New paint and AV upgrades were part of the final fit-out.
